In this role, you'll:
Work with the Finance Manager Analysis and various other teams and provide project, contract and finance support.
Undertake detailed analysis of financial data for inclusion in team reporting and ad hoc requests.
Contribute to the development, implementation, operation and improvement of the budget, functions, systems, processes and tools to ensure that payment of service providers is in accordance with their contracts.
Prepare reports and presentations on a wide range of topics and support processes, systems and controls to ensure access to accurate financial information.
This is a fixed-term role till May 2026
Transport for NSW is currently in consultation to determine our workplace presence proposal which could see non-frontline employees primarily required to work from an approved office location under a hybrid agreement. This particular role is currently based at our Sydney CBD hub at Elizabeth Street.
The proposed changes do not impact the availability of flexible, hybrid working arrangements at Transport. We remain committed to providing an inclusive working environment and supporting all employees to work effectively and productively.

About you
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multi-functional team environment and communicate lessons learned and benefits realization analysis
A process-focused individual who enjoys working flexibly across tasks as this role has multiple facets
Experience in project support and/or financial management support in a large multidisciplinary-based environment.
Capable of managing and prioritising peak workloads and the requirements of multiple stakeholders and their expectations
