In this role, you'll:
The Sydney Trains Employee Relations unit is a force for change, working to make Sydney Trains a great place to work for employees. The unit oversees all aspects of industrial relations including enterprise agreements, industrial disputes, risk minimisation and everything in between.
We navigate a complex industrial landscape to achieve strategic and operational workforce relations outcomes for Sydney Trains, collaborating closely with stakeholders across Sydney Trains leadership, unions, legal, state and federal groups. Our ambitious and supportive team includes experts from Legal, People and Culture, Industrial and Employee Relations backgrounds.
You will be responsible for overseeing and managing any industrial and employment relations issues, ensuring compliance with relevant and appropriate industrial instruments and laws.
You will deliver effective employee relations solutions and provide advice and support to diverse stakeholder groups in the management of industrial and employment relations matters.
These 2 permanent positions are available in a hybrid working model which are aligned with our Flexible Working Arrangements procedures which offers hybrid arrangements subject to approvals including having a mix of in-person days in our Pitt Street/Elizabeth Street/Burwood offices as well as remote working.

About you
You are an experienced employee relations professional who has understanding of employment laws and practices as well as the public sector employment policies and processes.
You are someone with great communications and interpersonal skills and ability to engage and build relationships with numerous stakeholders.
You have demonstrated ability to manage time and meet deadlines while balancing completing priorities.
