In this role, you'll:


Join our Light Rail Contracts team within our Public Transport branch, as an Interface Officer, where you will support the coordination of the interface and asset requirements from adjacent property development and major projects that may impact light rail corridors, assets, services and customers for light rail services.

This role will see you working closely with internal and external stakeholders such as developers, contractors, project teams and other internal teams to develop deeds and legal agreements to protect light rail corridors, supporting the Planned Service Disruption regime, and assisting in outage management activities to ensure the delivery of transport services is seamless.

This is a temporary, full time position up to April 2026 and offers hybrid working from our Elizabeth Street, Sydney office.  Please note that this position may require you to work outside of business hours and on weekends on occasion.

About you


You hold experience in interface management for service contracts and performance management, preferably within a rail or similar operational environment.

Your stakeholder management expertise, ability to influence, and negotiate and collaborate with all levels of stakeholders, along with strong communication skills, will see you drive performance and deliver outcomes for our customer.

Your experience and / or qualifications in transport operations, construction management, or engineering in an urban environment will see you achieve success in this role. Experience in managing rail possessions is also highly desirable, although not essential.
