In this role, you'll:
be working as part of an exciting new team to establish a Bus Regulatory Transformation Program.
The Manager Bus Regulatory Programs will be responsible for leading and implementing the operational delivery of the Bus Regulatory Transformation Program.
You will have the opportunity to provide high quality regulatory advice to internal and external stakeholders, policy SMEs and liaise with other statutory authorities and schemes to contribute to how regulation could be conducted in the future, informed by Bus Taskforce findings and know how to take it to the next level.
Please note that this is a temporary fixed term role up until 17/02/2027.

About you
Your applied understanding of the bus transport industry and its current state will help you succeed in this role.
You will have experience working on large-scale transformation projects and have an understanding the complexities working in a complex organisation.
You will work within appropriate risk, governance and assurance frameworks and processes to ensure financial; reputational and program / service delivery risks are minimised.
You will contribute to bus industry educational activities on all aspects of their regulatory obligations, including focus topics from the Bus Taskforce reports.
You will oversee implementation and management of updated Safety Management System (SMS) Guidelines as part of Transport’s Bus Operator Accreditation Scheme (BOAS).
You have finely tuned interpersonal skills and are known for your strong verbal and written communication.
You understand how to navigate the sensitivities of operating within a highly visible organisation that may be subject to high levels of media and public attention.
