In this role, you'll:


Work as part of the Transport Services Planning team managing the development of operating concepts and timetable specifications and designs to ensure integrated public transport services are operated across Regional and Outer Metropolitan.

This role will see you develop and design of bus and coach service timetables. This is a temporary full time position until the 31st December 2025. Transport for NSW is currently in consultation to determine our workplace presence proposal which could see non-frontline employees primarily required to work from an approved office location under a hybrid agreement. 

This particular role is currently based at our 477 Pitt Street, Sydney office hub.

The proposed changes do not impact the availability of flexible, hybrid working arrangements at Transport. We remain committed to providing an inclusive working environment and supporting all employees to work effectively and productively.

About you


You're a dedicated Operational Planning & Timetable Design Manager who will manage a small team of two employees.

You will be an expert in designing bus and coach service timetables as well as you're understanding of timetabling scheduling softwares. 

You must be able to develop and manage relationships with bus operators. You're prior team management experience will be highly desirable.
