In this role, you'll:
Join Pipeline, Partnership and Development as a Project Manager Modelling.

 

Collaborate and consult with key subject matter experts across Transport, including project development teams to articulate, gather and interpret project modelling requirements and outputs.
 

Provide advice, research, and support for both strategic and operational modelling.
 

Employ consistent and compliant frameworks and methodologies, to inform the delivery of transport modelling across the Infrastructure, Projects and Engineering Group. .
 

Manage client expectations about appropriate and useful applications of strategic travel models while maintaining a thorough, professional and defensible approach to transport modelling.
 

Work with a variety of Transport for NSW stakeholders across a range of divisions
 

You will be involved in a broad range of work, including business case development for land-use modelling, strategic demand forecasting, traffic modelling assessment, pedestrian modelling, active transport forecasting,
 

Complete project development for a range of multi-modal and place-based projects.

This Sydney based role is a fixed term contract until 8th August 2025. The team typically works from the 680 George Street office two days a week with offices at 4 Parramatta Square and 7 Harvest Street Macquarie Park.

About you
Previous experience developing business case for land-use modelling, strategic demand forecasting, traffic modelling assessment, pedestrian modelling, active transport forecasting.

You can ensure consistent application of modelling practices and frameworks and adherence to assurance guidelines and processes.

You have adept stakeholder management skills and the ability to set clear expectations in regard to appropriate and useful applications of strategic travel models

With your collaborative work style, you will enjoy creating partnerships with the public and private sectors and across government


Knowledge and understanding of EMME based strategic models (e.g. STM, PTPM and SMPM), microsimulation models (e.g. VISSIM, AIMSUN) and/or intersection models (e.g. SIDRA)

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience in Project Modelling
