In this role, you'll:
Be part of a dynamic and collaborative team working on infrastructure Communciations projects. You will play a vital role will manage the end to end delivery of all assigned projects in line with project management methodology. This includes all aspects of project management to deliver complex and integrated solutions that encompass the management of contracts, commercials, change, solution, marketing, stakeholders, vendors, budget, resource and risks.

 

The role requires a high level of attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The role will require a holistic view of the Transport network and will work with other government agencies as you manage the processes and timelines for multiple short term strategic projects ranging from a few weeks to a couple of months in length.

Key responsibilities include:
• Develop and maintain high quality project plans, schedules and registers for a range of projects undertaken on behalf of the Unit


• Lead overall project management support, including highlighting dependencies, delays, risks and issues as required to drive achievement of overall strategic objectives


• Facilitate effective stakeholder management to ensure stakeholders requirements are identified and managed with effective and appropriate engagement and communications

About you
As an individual, you will have appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated, relevant, equivalent professional experience managing timeframes and the successful development of project plans.
 
Combined with your strong communication skills, you are capable of reporting up and have the ability to understand what management want to see whilst Project Managing a small number of short term projects at any given time.
 
This will enable you to be across all projects and the management of them and the people in the team to make sure they are actioning and completing tasks correctly.
 
This is a role that will utilise your intermediate level MS Office skills and your experience representing information in dashboards using Business Intelligence tools and or Excel.
 
Ideally, you will also have experience in managing business cases or writing investment briefs.
