Risk Manager (Temporary Opportunity up to 7 months)

In this role, you'll:
Manage and coordinate the risk management function for a respective work package, ensuring that all elements of risk to the package are identified, analysed and reported, and solutions/mitigations are developed and implemented. This role will see you provide strategic and operational guidance and support to identify, manage and minimise actual and potential risk exposures to the package.
You will be responsible to develop, update and maintain the risk register which will facilitate the management of the package risk profile and support teams in the adoption of risk-based decision making, analysis and problem solving wherever possible, including risk identification, assessment and mitigation advice, workshop facilitation, and assistance in the preparation quantification implementation and review of risk treatment strategies.
This role is a temporary fixed term opportunity up to 31/01/2026.

About you
You have demonstrated experience in risk management including the use of risk analysis tools such as Monte Carlo.
You have a technical understanding of trains and systems as well as engineering.
You bring knowledge of qualitative and quantitative risk management.
You have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills that allow you to build, develop and maintain strong and cooperative working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that priorities and deadlines are met.
