In this role, you'll:
Support the planning and delivery of operational communications, wayfinding, and customer engagement plans for multi-modal replacement bus services.
Collaborate with operators, internal teams, and external partners to ensure clear, timely, and accurate information during planned transport disruptions.
Develop and implement communication strategies in partnership with the Alternate Transport Planning and Communications teams.
Provide on-ground support and lead initiatives to improve customer experience during replacement bus operations and other disruptions.
Join a fast-paced, collaborative team focused on delivering high-quality passenger outcomes and continuously enhancing communication processes.
This role is fixed-term with a duration till May 2026
Transport for NSW is currently in consultation to determine our workplace presence proposal which could see non-frontline employees primarily required to work from an approved office location under a hybrid agreement. This particular role is currently based at our Sydney CBD hub at Elizabeth Street.
The proposed changes do not impact the availability of flexible, hybrid working arrangements at Transport. We remain committed to providing an inclusive working environment and supporting all employees to work effectively and productively.

About you
Demonstrated experience assessing complex information and contributing to the development of effective communication strategies.
Proven ability to support the successful delivery and implementation of operational programs, particularly in transport or related sectors.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience liaising across internal teams and external partners to gather information and coordinate communication efforts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to convey clear, timely messages to diverse audiences.
Proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with a track record of identifying and implementing improvements in communication processes.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing competing priorities effectively.
