Solution Architect (Up to 7 Months Temporary Opportunity)

In this role, you'll:
Be a key contributor to a high performing team delivering architectural solutions in the Cloud/On-Premise space.

As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will be providing technical leadership and strategic advice to key stakeholders to deliver improvements in Bus real time tracking solutions and PTIPS (Public Transport Information and Priority System) modernisation.

You will be collaborating closely with the technical team (such as product owners and other domain architects) and a range of key stakeholders to really understand their business problems and devise appropriate solutions, supporting the business by delivering successful projects, products and services.

This is a fixed term full time role up to 31 December 2025 | Hybrid flexible work practices and is based at our Redfern home office.

About you
An experienced Solution Architect you have proficiency in the following:

• Implementing cloud architectural solutions & Enterprise Integrations implementation.
• Exposure to AWS/Azure solutions.
• Knowledge of public transport operational systems is highly desirable
• Knowledge of PTIPS (Public Transport Information and Priority System) & GTFS (General Transit Feed Specification) is desirable
• Options evaluation expertise.
• Developing solutions that comply with TfNSW Cyber Security standards.
• Excellent communication, presentation skills & stakeholder engagement and management
• Engaging with and translating business stakeholder requirements to deliver end-to-end solutions in line with technology policies and standards.
• Proficiency in delivering outcomes in a team environment.
