As Track Protection Specialists, you'll:

 

Be the key point of contact to develop and implement detailed worksite protection plans in a variety of operating environments. You’ll also be responsible for planning and co-ordinating complex worksite protection across multiple stakeholders.

 

As Track Protection Officers, you’ll:

 

Be working as part of a team to implement worksite protection plans and perform worksite protection activities across Engineering and Maintenance Branch. You’ll provide advice to relevant personnel to identify operational improvement opportunities for rail corridor safety.

 

Working as part of a team delivering the highest level of practical worksite protection available, these roles will see through the implementation of worksite protection plans across Wollongong and Lawson regions. Additional travel required on case by case basis for other locations as needed.

About you

 

Your strong background in safety and implementing worksite protection plans formed across the rail industry will help you thrive amongst the range, pace and complexity of information and knowledge required to deliver quality services.

 

You’re recognised as an engaging and collaborative communicator, skilled at balancing contesting expectations and agendas of different stakeholders. You hold:

 

  • Current Certifications in Track Protection:
    • TPO Level 4 for all Protection Specialists
    • TPO Level 3 (for Lawson)
    • TPO Level 2 (for Wollongong)
  • Unrestricted Driver’s License
  • TfNSW Hand Signaller Level 1 (minimum)
  • A willingness to obtain Safe Working qualifications
