In this role, you'll:
Be required to proficiently operate Heavy Rigid vehicles include Tippers primarily designed for the haulage of road-based materials.
The position is not required to operate a HIAB or similar truck mounted crane. In addition to the position’s primary duties, you will also be expected to tow any trailers that the vehicle is rated to tow.
When you are not driving the truck, you will be undertaking general maintenance of the road network. You will be required to assist the crew in manual tasks and perform any of the responsibilities associated to a Road Worker Grade 3.
This position operates on a 9-day fortnight.
In this position you will be required to work regularly away from home
We are seeking applicants that reside within a 70 km radius to the Narrandera depot

About you
We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver who has the capability to work under limited supervision and has experience in maintaining a safe and injury free workplace for all employees while operating in a fast-paced work environment.
You will be well versed in the Chain of Responsibility (COR) with experience in heavy haulage.
In this role you will have a:
• White Card
• Heavy Rigid Drivers Licence
• Labouring experience in a construction or civil environment
• Traffic Control tickets or willing to undertake.
• HC License is preferred
