In this role, you'll:
Perform maintenance and manual labouring tasks using plant and equipment and powered and non-powered hand tools. Undertake road maintenance activities which may include, but not limited to, widening & barrier installs, enhanced road pavements, overtaking lanes and heavy patching works.
Travel extensively throughout the region to attend worksites including attending call outs where required.
This position operates on a 9-day fortnight. In this position you will be required to work regularly away from home.
We are seeking applicants that reside within a 70 km radius to the Welby depot.
The successful applicant may be required to work outside normal working hours, attend after hour callouts, and be prepared to travel throughout the state and work at locations away from the base station.

About you
You are a team-oriented worker who has an eye for detail and is used to working in similar environments.
You are a practical thinker, quick learner and great communicator who enjoys being physically active performing outdoor manual tasks involving the use of hand tools and equipment within a team setting.
You must hold the following tickets/ Licence’s.
• White Card
• Current driver’s licence
Traffic Control tickets and Truck Licence (Medium Rigid) up to (Heavy Rigid) are preferred but not essential.
You must have previous experience as a Road Worker Grade 1- 3 level or related civil construction labouring experience
