In this role, you'll:
Joining our Maintenance & Delivery Fleet Asset Management team as a Fleet Inspector, you will design, inspect and audit the safety and condition of TfNSW owned, leased, hired equipment and panel contractor items across TfNSW worksites. You will be responsible for ensuring the new fleet items comply with TfNSW specifications and safety requirements and to provide technical advice on all requirements.

You will deliver specialist, routine and non-routine surveillance of Fleet Assets, including quality calibration inspections, design and build progress, panel contracts and major work site surveillance.

This is a permanent, full time position that is located at our Yennora Fleet Office. As this role supports a variety of work in regional NSW travel will be required. You will therefore be required to work outside normal working hours and travel to various regional and remote work locations.

About you
You are an experienced Fleet Inspector with trade qualifications in a field related to earth-moving plant and equipment or heavy vehicles.

You have extensive knowledge and experience in the maintenance and inspection of earthmoving plant, trucks and equipment. Your ability to interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, electrical diagrams, workshop manuals and hydraulic system diagrams will see you succeed in this role.

You will be customer focused, demonstrate drive and commitment, and have the ability to work autonomously. You have solid communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate with different stakeholders.
